3. Cricut Explore Air 2 or Maker
These two machines are perfect for cutting the stickers. Both of them come with the Print-Then-Cut feature. Besides, if you want to cut the designs without any Cricut machine, then you can cut using scissors or an X-Acto knife.
4. Sticker Sheet Image File
Lastly, you must use the image file to print and cut. Either you create your sticker design or find a sticker sheet file to download.
How to Make Stickers With Cricut Design Space?
Sticker designs can be made on Cricut Design Space easily. You can also use pre-made designs and give them your creative touch. However, the maximum size you can cut with the Print-Then-Cut feature is 9.25 inches x 6.75 inches. Therefore, we suggest you add a 9.25-inch x 6.75-inch rectangle template to my Design Space canvas. It will help you plan your designs.
Once you have finished your design, select everything and, with the help of the Flatten tool, combine the shapes and text in one printable layer. Furthermore, you can convert the design into a printable image. Finally, print the design.
Here are the steps to make stickers with Cricut using the Print-Then-Cut feature.
Step 1: Creating a Sticker Image File
Firstly, download the readymade sticker sheet image file. Also, you can design the sticker sheet image using an app such as Illustrator, Design Space, and Procreate.
Step 2: Uploading the Sticker Image to Design Space
- Launch the Cricut Design Space, then create a new project.
- Afterward, tap the Upload button from the main canvas.
- Then, look for the image file and hit the Upload Image to import it.
- Further, you will be prompted to choose the image type.
- Then, on the screen, select Save as a Print, then Cut image.
- After that, you can tag and name the image you chose. Hit the Save button.
- Finally, select the Insert Image option to insert the image into the Canvas.

Take a LightGrip blue mat and load it into the machine. To load the Cricut mat into the machine, you have to press the flashing arrow button.
