Steps to cut vinyl-

  2. Create your design: You can download Cricut Design Space and design your project. You can also select a design from the samples available or upload your design on Design Space. Cricut Design Space is cloud-based and easy to use.
  3. Make your project ready to cut: If you use a design from the Cricut image library, click “make it now” and your project is ready to cut. If you are not using the image library, follow some steps. To check if your project is ready to cut, Press the “make it” button. If your design is not ready, make some necessary adjustments. When your design is ready to cut, select the shape and colors you need and click the “attach” button.
  4. Place it on a cutting mat: The mat allows you to cut multilayered and multicolored projects, and you can set how many copies and how large projects you need. Once satisfied, press the “Continue” button and follow the instructions. While placing the vinyl on the Cricut mat, make sure it is placed backing side down. Load your vinyl and Cricut mat in the Cricut machine and press the “load/unload” button.
  5. Cut the material: You can select the setting of the Cricut machine according to your material. Ensure that settings are according to your material, as wrong settings can ruin your project. Now press the “go” button to monitor the progress through the screen while the machine is cutting your design. After completing, press the “load/unload” button again, and if your design needs only one color, you are done.   1. Weed: After the cutting of vinyl is done, weed your design to make it perfect.
  2. Prepare the surface of the project: Make sure that your project surface is dry and clean and that nothing can harm your project’s durability.
  3. Apply transfer tape to the vinyl design: Place the transfer tape on the vinyl; it will hold the vinyl onto the surface.
  4. Use transfer tape to apply vinyl design to the project: After taping, position the vinyl design correctly on your project with the adhesive side on the project surface and rub it.
  5. Remove the transfer tape: Peel away the transfer tape from the vinyl liner at a 45-degree angle. If the transfer tape does not come out, burn the vinyl and try again.
